oriGIn 2017 General Assembly: call for candidatures
Dear Members,
This is a call for candidatures for the organization of the next oriGIn General Assembly, to be held in 2017.
Members interested in hosting this event are invited to send a detailed proposal to massimo@origin-gi.com no later than 9 December 2016. The candidatures will have to contain at least the following information:
- The proposed dates (in this respect, please take into account the structure commonly followed in our General Assemblies: half day for statutory deliberations + 1-day GIs conference + 1-day field visit),
- A preliminary budget (including the costs that will be covered by the host);
- And a description of the proposed field visit (and eventually of any other activities, which will give the participants the chance to discover the local culture and tradition).
The criteria against which the candidatures will be reviewed by the Executive Committee are the proposal’s financial solidity and geographical rotation compared to previous General Assemblies.
