In preparation of the FTAs negotiations with Australia and New Zealand, the EU recently launched an on online public consultation on the future of EU-Australia and EU-New Zealand trade and economic relations: http://trade.ec.europa.eu/consultations/index.cfm?consul_id=195 . This is an opportunity for GI groups to mention the major issues in securing GI protection in those countries. If you are interested in participating in the public consultation, you can do so until 3 June 2016. Likewise, DG Trade and the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights launched a survey on IPRs in Third Countries: https://www.tmdn.org/uss/survey/index/sid/553579/newtest/Y/lang/en . The survey will be one of the tools used by the EU to help improve the IPRs enforcement in third countries. If you are interested in participating in the survey, you can do so until 31 May 2016.
