On 26 June, Albania became the third country (following Cambodia and Côte d’Ivoire) to accede to the Geneva Act of the Lisbon Agreement on Appellations of Origin and Geographical Indications. With the process almost completed in the EU (formal accession expected in November 2019) the Geneva Act will probably enter into force early in 2020 (this in fact will happen three months after five eligible parties have deposited their instruments of ratification or accession).
