On 7 June 2015, following the signature of the standard agreement for establishing a national/regional section of oriGIn, the Portuguese Association of agro-food GIs (QUALIFICA) became the Portuguese section of oriGIn. After France and China, this is the third example of an oriGIn national section being created. We encourage all members to think about the opportunity to create national and regional sections of oriGIn to further strengthen our global network.
