Following the success of the edition held in Montpellier in July 2022, the second international conference on “Global Perspectives on Geographical Indications” will take place in Rome, Italy, from 18 to 21 February 2025. The event – organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry (MASAF), with the support of the Centre for International Cooperation in Agricultural Research for Development (CIRAD), the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI), oriGIn, Origin Italia, and the Qualivita Foundation – will focus on the theme of innovation for sustainability.
