
Every year, the international GI community gathers in Geneva for our Expert Meeting, a unique opportunity to discuss the latest developments and challenges on GI protection and enforcement (including the ones related to the use of innovative technologies), as well as to meet specialists and initiate partnerships. The 2025 Expert Meeting will take place at oriGIn’s headquarters (Octagon building, 2 chemin du Pavillon, 1218) on 12 (afternoon) and 13 (morning) June. Check here the topics which will be discussed.
To attend the event, you need to register here (please check below the event’s fees, which include registration, a welcome coffee and networking dinner on June 12 and welcome breakfast on June 13):
• oriGIn full members (GI GROUPS): 150 CHF
• oriGIn associate members: 350 CHF
• Non-members: 450 CHF

1. Accommodation: Participants are responsible for their hotel reservations. oriGIn has secured a special rate of 220 CHF per night, including breakfast, at the Hilton Geneva Hotel & Conference Centre, located a few minutes from the event venue (walking distance). 2. Transportation: Geneva offers a comprehensive and efficient public transportation system, including trams, buses, and trains, making it easy to navigate and explore. For travelers arriving at Geneva International Airport, a direct train connects the airport to the city center in just a few minutes. To reach the Octagon building (event venue) there are convenient bus options: Bus F, with the Suzette stop located just in front of the venue, and bus 5, with the Grand Saconnex Place stop situated 5 minutes away.
3. Visa & entry to Switzerland: Depending on your nationality, you may need a visa to travel to Switzerland. For more information, please visit the official website.
