28/11/2024-Webinar: “Implementing a sustainability strategy for Café Villarica”

oriGIn with the support of the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI), the Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (INDECOPI) and oriGIn Peru – is helping the producers of the Peruvian GI “Café Villa Rica” to elaborate a sustainability strategy. Based on the FAO-oriGIn methodology, the strategy will be finalized through an inclusive process involving the producers and other relevant stakeholders in the Villa Rica geographical area. In this context, a first webinar was organized on 28 November, with the participation of the “Federación Nacional Cafeteros de Colombia” (FNC), a member of oriGIn in the coffee sector which has developed a solid experience on sustainability . For more details, see the program.
