The World Intellectual Property Day is a yearly celebration of Intellectual Property Rights and the benefits they bring to society. Established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), it is celebrated on April 26 each year.
In 2023, the theme will be “Women and Intellectual Property: Accelerating Innovation and Creativity”. As part of a series of events and initiatives on the topic, WIPO will prepare a series of short videos (around 50 seconds) on the crucial role played by women in IP, including GIs – which will be disseminated worldwide. In this context, WIPO is looking for women stakeholders in GI value chains wishing to share their experience.
