On Thursday, March 3, the procedure for the transformation of the National Grappa Institute into the National association for the protection of the GI Grappa was concluded. The GI Grappa has been protected at European level, on the basis of EU Regulation 787/2019, since 2008.
The Consortium will carry out protection activities as well as promotion activities related to the GI Grappa, which embodies authentic Italian history and traditions.
Congratulations to our member “AssoDistil” (National Association of Industrial Distillers of Alcohol and Spirits) for supporting the project for the establishment of the National association for the protection of the GI Grappa.
